Female Icon #1: Courtney Love due to her genuine disrespect for boundaries, rules, and all around norms.
Dear god! Is Emma Stone fashions new Lindsay? At first I thought that the comparison was futile but now that they have almost identical Vanity Fair covers my observations have become valid. Though Emma’s cover seems a bit like product placement where Lilo’s cover embodies all aspects of the ultimate female celebrity. She’s still a product but a product that sells itself. The fact that there is nothing on the cover that doesn’t refer to her story is amazing. Granted, Emma is more talented but she has a way to go before she completely permeates the realms of (popular) culture the way that Lindsay has. Lets just put it this way—I know how to do a Lindsay and I have no idea what an Emma is.
Kate!
Hmm. I like that Chanel is attempting this new strategy.
I can’t decide what my country persona would be. Gretchen Wilson seems like a go to but i’m also mellow and sweet….hmmm….
I like that she pretends to dance these days. Really though. Perfect video. So 1992 2am heroine dance off. Everything i’m trying to evoke in my daily life. Between the Karen O hair and dance moves and the Versace lion necklace there is absolutely nothing to hate.
